What Is The Treatment For Sore Throat And Night Sweats With No Fever?
i had a sore throat and sinus the last couple of days and sweating alot . Today I got up feeling alot better no more sore throat or stuffy nose but the sweating is terrible . I can't understand what is going on . I have been taking advil and nyquil at night .
If it was not for the sweating I would not feel bad at all. I"m not sure if i have a fever . I have nothing to take my temperture . Why would i have a fever if all my other symptoms have gone away.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have sore throat and night sweats . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like sinusitis , strep throat , viral pharyngitis and post nasal drip . Advil and nyquil will give only symptomatic relief , you need to take antibiotics to get rid of the infection . Infection and fever is also reason for night sweat , other reasons can also be there like hyperthroidism and hormonal changes . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order throat swab test , viral culture test , blood test and CT scan to confirm the diagnosis . Doctor may prescribe antibacterial or antiviral depending upon the diagnosis along with decongestant and expectorant . For now take steam and do warm saline gargles .
