What Is The Treatment For Severe Scabies?

I think I have scabies...yikes!! I just saved an outdoor kitten and broke out in scabies pimples that had bugs in them where she scratched and layer on me. I think I have had these before but didn t know what they were until now after looking this up so I was never treated. Did I get cat scabies or did the exiting ones jump on the opportunity of the broken skin? I have scratched myself into bad scabs...help!!! Thank You

Thank you for query.it is not clear about the exact morphology,color texture exact site duration symptoms of rash.as you are suspecting iScabies. please treat after consultation with your doctor with permethrin creams 5% below neck application to whole body after a good scrub bath.then apply it again after 1 week.Wash all blankets and clothes with warm water and dry it under sun.Antihistamines like cetrizine an be taken if itching.treat all others in the family if they have it.consult doctor else you can get back to us with details and photos.DR Bharatesh D Basti Dermatologist.
