What Is The Treatment For Severe Forehead Pain And Headache?

Hello i have recently been having severe pain in my forehead. I am noticing a vertical dent in the center. It feels like my head is going to explode from the pressure. I have also been fatigued. I am 27 years old and stay home with my children. I have little to no time for myself. The days are getting harder and harder to cope through this sleeping spells and headaches. Please help! I would really like a professionals opinion. Thank you.

Leah

Hi, welcome to our site. I am Dr Saumya Mittal.

Read your query. That is a very significant question and i appreciate your problem. I will try my best to answer your query

i would suggest you meet a neurologist immediately. this may be a bad sign

sudden onset headache can be a worrisome thing. and may be something serious

i would suggest an urgent mri brain to make sure there is no intracranial pathology

of course this might be due to some more benign conditions like sinusitis or weakness of the eye sight or anxiety disorder. but the more dangerous conditions need to be ruled out first

and mri of the brain with contrast (if needed) may be the first and most significant step for the same

I hope this helps you. Inform the reports mentioned above so i can be of help further. Best of luck.

I have given you the answer to the maximum considering the information provided. The results of the tests could further enhance my answer to you.

Please do understand that some details could be extracted from a detailed history and examination.

Looking forward to your return query with the details asked so that I can help you further.
