What Is The Treatment For Sebaceous Cyst?

i have a sebacaous cyst on my chin , it has gone through many stages of draining and filling it drains only when coaxed with soap and water ,it seems to make the skin on my chin burn and itch the discarge now is thiner and stcky it seems to hold fliud over a large area is this because of rupter what can help for a compleate removal

Hi,

As you said you have sebaceous cyst on chin. It is a benign cyst containing cheesy material. Some times it may be infected. You may take short course of antibiotics and anti inflammatory drugs. If there is itching, you may take antihistaminic like levocetirizine.You consult dermatologist or surgeon. It may be removed surgically under local anaesthesia. It is a minor surgery done in OPD. I feel that you may become alright. I hope you got my answer.
