Thanks for your help! I found the information very helpful. However the ringworms that I had earlier have been cured from my face and other parts and the marks as well. But I am now suffering from a new problem in my inner thigh. The groin area becomes very itchy during night. It has turned black and I can see ringworms like patches there now. Please help me why this is happening?
Hello Thank you for posting on HCM From your description, it seems you have got Tinea corporis, a sort of fungal skin infection. I would recommend you consult a dermatologist for proper management. I generally recommend proper course of oral antifungal drug like fluconazole / itraconazole along with local application of sertaconazole or luliconazole cream over affected areas. Take oral antihistaminics for itching as required. Also get your blood sugar checked because high blood glucose can predispose to recurrent fungal infections of skin. Hope this will take care of your problem Thank you Dr Hardik Pitroda
