Hello,
Welcome to HCM,
There are no cures for primary restless legs syndrome but we can relieve the symptoms.
If it is secondary to any disease, treatment of the underlying cause should be done.
I would suggest some measures for restless syndrome
Avoid substances or foods that may be causing or worsening the problem.
Stay away from alcohol, caffeine, and nicotine.
You need to inform regarding all medicines you are taking with your doctor to know any of these drugs could be causing the problem.
Any underlying medical conditions, such as anemia, diabetes, nutritional deficiencies, kidney disease, thyroid disease, varicose veins, or Parkinson's disease, should be treated.
You may also benefit from physical therapy and self-care treatments like stretching, taking hot or cold baths, applying hot or cold packs to the affected area, limb massage
Exercise and relaxation techniques also may be helpful.
Medications for Restless Legs Syndrome should be taken only on consultation with you treating doctor.
Hope you are clear with the facts. Feel free to post the query.
Thank you.
