What Is The Treatment For Redness In Eyes?

I have contacts lenses in the left eye have redness some drainage yesterday little today, don't think its pink eye because had that before usually a lot more drainage and your eye is matted shut in the morning. Is it necessary to see an eye doctor about this? It felt like something was floating around in my eye, it was irritating to wear contacts and sensitive to light. It is not as red this morning?

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hello
It seems from the history that you are having redness and watering in the eyes. Since you are wearing contact lenses this may be because of contact lens related injury.
Hence first thing to be done is to stop wearing the contact lenses till symptoms are relieved. The treatment is by use of antibiotic eye drops.
You need a ophthalmologist examination to rule out corneal infiltration.

Thank you
