What Is The Treatment For Reddish And Watery Eyes?

I have always had allergies but they ve never affected my eyes very much other than slight watering and redness. Lately (past month or so) my eyes have been getting excessively irritated. They over produced mucus and matted shut but would start to heal over night and the reaction would go away in a day or two. Well the past few days my inner, upper eye kid is peeling. I saw what I thought was mucus which often gets caught under my eye lid and irritates my eye, and I went to pull it clear of my eye and saw that was skin and it was peeling off my eye lid. What causes this sudden change in reaction? How do I stop/prevent this? And how do I soothe the irritations caused by this?

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
your problem may not be allergic. it can be bacterial infection. get it con firmed by eye doctor.if so then antibiotic drop like ofloxacin .3% is required to be applied 4hourly. neosporine eye oint ment may be applied at bed time. with this treatment you will improve.

Ophthalmologist Dr. Dadapeer K's  Response
Hello
Welcome to health care magic

I reviewed your history.
It seems from the history that you are having conjunctivitis probably allergic in nature.
Acute exacerberations are commonly seen in allergic connunctivitis. The treatment is by use if anti allergic eye drops and steroids under the supervision of your ophthalmologist in non resolving cases.
Hence I advice you to consult your ophthalmologist for examination and treatment accordingly.

Thank you
