What Is The Treatment For Rash And Swelling In Ears?

my wife has no fever but has a rash behind both ears and some swelling. Her hearing has not come back in one ear from the ear infection she had 2 weeks ago. she cannot seem to shake this cold sinus infection that she has had for a long time now. Even after all the antibiotics and cold meds she also has a nipple piercing that seems to have a pus blister near it. It s almost like she has an infection raging in her body that nothing seems to help

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be seborrhoea.
As a first line management you can apply topical anti-fungal steroid combination like Clotrimazole-Betamethasone combination for symptomatic relief. I symptoms persist better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
