Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic

You have developed irritant dermatitis to toothpaste application. If I was the treating doctor I would have asked you to apply a moderately potent topical steroid e.g fluticasone twice daily at the red spots for 5-7 days.

Once the redness subsides, Subsequently for acne you could use a topical clindamycin or benzoyl peroxide gel twice daily. An oral antibiotic e,g either doxycycline or azithromycin may also be required in consultation with your treating dermatologist.
