General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

* Two weeks is a very small age hence you should take your child to a Neonatologist for proper clinical examination of the throat, chest and all
* Watch for feeding whether the child is taking the feeds or not
* There can be pharyngitis, fungal infection or some congenital problems
* Once a proper diagnosis is done then the proper treatment is possible and you should follow the advise of a neonatologist
* Investigations as needed and advised to be done
* Second opinion of an ENT Surgeon may help further

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
