What Is The Treatment For Painful Urination?

I just had my period today, and i just noticed i have the urge to use the bathroom, and when i pee just a little, it starts to hurt for a bit then its gone. right after my period comes out from my vaginal canal. it never did that before. Whats happening ?

Hi,

Based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have an infection of Urinary Bladder (Cystitis).

Please get done your routine urine test and urine culture to find out the organisms causing this infection and antibiotics to which they are sensitive to.

Doing Ultrasound Scanning of the abdomen will rule out any stone in the bladder.

Please take broad-spectrum antibiotics like Cefotaxime along with urinary antiseptics like Nitrofurantoin and urine alkalizer. Later on, switch on to appropriate antibiotics as per culture report.

Get the prescription of medicines from your family Physician. Ensure to drink more water. To keep your urine dilute This will help to control pain.
