I fractured my fibula right near the ankle joint. No surgery was done and I've been in an air cast the entire time, nwb. I've been good but this week I had to go out of the house which required me going down steep steps. I couldn't get back up without stepping on my leg. I went easy on it though. Now I feel soreness around the front of the foot and the inside of the ankle looks bruised. I'm worried I could have messed with the union process and put myself back weeks. I'm due for a doctor appointment in 2 weeks. My first appointment since the day it broke. Should I risk the house steps and head to the hospital now or just wait until my appointment.
