What Is The Treatment For Pain In Neck And Back?

I have a metal smell in my nose. This just started that I can tell right after I had bladder sling surgery. I noticed it before a little but it is foul now. I don't have tremors but I have noticed that I am suffering more from pain in my neck and back.

Neurologist 's  Response
Hello!

Thank you for asking on Healthcaremagic!

Your symptoms could be related to chronic degeneration of the vertebral column. Regarding the metalic smell, it could be caused by anesthetic adverse effects.
Anyway, I would recommend consulting with a neurologist for a physical check up. Performing a complete blood count and iron levels for iron deficiency is also necessary. If the problem persist, I would advice trying an antidepressant.
Hope you will find this answer helpful!
Best wishes, Dr. Aida
