my name is lynsey, I'm 18 years old, 5'4 and 180 pounds, i have lost 50 over the past two years and i remain very active with a healthy diet and normal blood pressure and cholestrol level. I'm currently taking cymbalta for anxiety and depression and jave the implannon birth control implant.lately (the past year ) I've been having flu like symptoms almost monthly that include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, soreness of the skin, aching joints and headaches. this past spell included light headedness that is still occurring even after the other symptoms have gone. I'm very concerned and was wondering what to do since flu shots are not helping and treatment for the flu is clearly not either. please help...

I really appreciate your concern, if this is the case if anxiety and depression then it may cause many different symptoms mimics viral infection and others but actually that may not be the case, first try to come out of the stress, if you do not have any underlying disease that causes the weight loss then it is nothing to worry, you are too young so try to keep your self away from psychic elements, better to see the psychiatrist for counselling hope this information helps.
