What Is The Treatment For Nasal Congestion?
My son has strep throat and has nasal congestion and a cough. He had no fever at dr and first test said no strep but next day said it is strep. Gave him amoxicillin 500 2x a day. Has only taken for 2 days but still very sick and now has fever of 101 with spo2 98 and pr 102-106.

Please meet your doctor again as i think he may not be having a strep infection since he has already taken the antibiotic for 2 days and his symptoms have not come down or the micro organism is resistant to amoxicillin and you may need to change the antibiotic. please dont delay as the infection can become more severe.
