lately, i was told to get the laser iridotomy for narrow angle glaucoma. i was also told to start taking iron supplements by my regular doctor. i am wondering if there is a connection between the two (iron and glaucoma). i am trying to find out if there is any other way to improve the narrow angle and avoid the surgery.
get your eye examined by eye doctor for diagnosis of glaucoma. anterior chamber examination by slit lamp and gonioscopy. to be done. no relation between iron tablet and treatment of glaucoma. iridotomy is painless laser implication. take second opinion before that. trbeculectomy is another option.
