What Is The Treatment For My Child S Swelling In Forehead?

hi, my five yr old son fell and hit his head hard on the floor, when he was running around. His forehead is swollen and is red. How can i get rid of the swellen and the redness before he goes back to school monda, its now Sunday morning, and the incident happened on friday. Please help.

how is the child now? does he have any headache or vomiting or loss of conciouness after he fell after the incident? if not then the swelling may be harmless. is the swelling increasing in size or is the same. if so keep a ice pack on the lump . ususally such swelling takes its own sweet time to resolve. and if possible take precaution in the future by putting carpets in his play areas, using helmets when he goes cycling
