Hello, my name is Brooke and I am only 16 years old. I am suffering from migraines and have been for about 2-3 weeks. I have not gone to the doctors again yet because I do not want to worry my mother. I have been taking Aleve and it helped at first, but now it helps for only half and hour and then I get a headache, which turns into a migraine shortly after. Everything I do makes my head hurt, and on some occasions I have even become really dizzy and it was a little hard for me to focus on what I was doing or even stand up straight. I went to the doctors in October and found out that I had a sinus infection. They told me to take some pills, which I did, but the migraines came back after I stopped taking the pills. I am not stressed, I get plenty of sleep ,I eat right, and I try not to over exert myself. My question is, is this serious and what should I do?
