hi...i would like to know...how metabolic acidosis, hyperkalemia and ARF happen in necrotizing fasciitis patient. and i iwant to know more detail how to treat hyperkalemia in NF patient,,, and what is the critria NF patient to refer them to Neprology...TQ

this is academic questions, it need long discussion which is not possible here still I would explain it in brief, if the condition is related with the kidney then the renal tubal acidosis can cause the hyperkalemia other reasons of these conditions are there also but I think this is not related here, the underlying reason need to be treated to correct the hyperkalemia in severe condition "Calcium gluconate and dialysis are needed hope this will be sufficient for you have nice day.
