What Is The Treatment For Loose Stools?
my baby boy is 14 months old.he had recovered from diarrhea very recently say 1 month.since yesterday he started to vomit whatever i feed and wetting his nappy with loose stool but very little quantity.and it is stinky and sticky nature.he did for 3 times yesterday.today he is fine in the morning but started to do like this from the evening for 3 times.these are all apart from his routine bowel movement which occurs in the morning.this is not even his teething period.what could be the reason.im worried because every month he falls sick for some reason

your child is suffering from acute gastrointestinal tract infection.Most probably of viral origin.Ensure good hydration.good nutrition.Give rice based food,fresh curd,apple,banana.You can give 15 day course of oral zinc preparation to decrease recurrence.Get stool examined for bacteria,helminths and parasites.Sometimes giardia infections are associated with recurrent gastroenteritis.So accordingly he can be treated.hope my answer decreases your worry
