What Is The Treatment For Loose Motions?

hi my son is 18 mths old and he is having yellow watery loose motion almost 3 to 4 times a day and sometimes he do vomiting at night and he is not eating anything only he have feeding and i also gave him a bit nutmeg(jaiphal) for loose motion as my mom said please tell me what to do how i made him eat food with this condition??

Hi.... He's having acute diarrhea & as you haven't quoted that he's dull or lethargic... I assume there's no dehydration. He needs replacement fluids in the form of ORS & zinc supplements & symptomatic antiemetic. Avoid fruit juices... Which may worsen diarrhea. If he's active & urinating normally...don't worry about his feeding as he will pick after this episode settles. Happy to help anytime. If my answer has helped you...kindly rate it.
