Iam 47 yeras old and iam suffering from lichen planus pigmentosus...black patches and marks have grown on my whole face...i have been prescribed to use hydroquinone cream. and mometasone furoate cream .but no such change was noticed...i'm suffering from high allergy as well...please kindly suggest me something so that i can get a effect quickly....
Hi, Lichen planus pigmentosus is a chronic pigmetary condition where the skin is deeply pigmented and hence all type of medical therapy appears to be unsuccessful. In my opinion the most important part is to reduce the sun exposure at its best. Wear full sleeves clothes and cover the body with clothes. On face apply good quality sunscreen. Eat a best of nutritious diet. In medical therapy you can apply- hydroquinone or kojic acid or azelaic acid under dermatological guidance.
