Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Since your doctor said that there is not a fracture, I assume that they did x-ray of your knee. Your complains look like you have some meniscus injury or cartilage damage. Both of these problems cannot be seen on x-ray but only in MRI. So, I advise you to get an MRI of the knee and see an orthopedic surgeon.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Edvin Selmani
