What Is The Treatment For Knee Pain After Knee Replacement Surgery?
I had a heart attack in 2006 and take medication as prescribed by Dr Dunn and had a knee replacement at the beginning of 2013 and due to have the other knee done this year. I have suffered increasing pain in both knees whenever I walk a short distance and up and down stairs. My left knee clicks constantly around the patella and my right is also painful in the patella area. I am 75 in March and don t feel I could go through the same pain, 6 different bugs following immediately after discharge 9 days after the operation. Can you advise as I have a consultation with a Nurse on 10 Jan 2014 at Glasgow Royal Infirmary? Hugh ps I can t afford to pay for advice!

you can go for physiotherapy treatment.isometric quadriceps exercise will be beneficial for you.strenghtning exercise for quadriceps, harmstring calf muscle will help you a lot to prevent click on staircase up and down.also go for hot water fomentation to reliev pain 15 min twice a day.ultrasound will also help you to relieve pain.
