What Is The Treatment For Infectious Mononucleosis?

I was diagnosed with mono 3 months ago. I drank out of a cup and emptied all the contents, orange juice, and my younger sister a few minutes after I set down the cup. She picked it up, filled it with orange juice thinking it was hers and drank from it. My question is will she now contract mono or is there a chance she wont???

Hi thanks for asking question.
Infectious mononucleosis transmitted through saliva of infected person.
Using the beverage or food through same utensil or container can transmit the infection as saliva can come contact.
So here cup can transmit infection to your sister because of contamination of cup.
Coughing, sneezing can also transmit virus into sourrounding air.so can be transmitted.
So observe whether your sister develop any sign and symptoms of it.
Make her immunity well with nutritional diet and fruits. From the next time take that utensil , cup should not be shared with you for few days.
I hope i have solve your query well.
