What Is The Treatment For Hot Flashes?

I have been getting very hot lately and randomly I will sweat a lot like A LOT my face and hands will lose all color turn white or green ish I can barely talk because I get tunnel Vision then I usually passout or throw up or both then its all better later on. Only thing I have noticed is I'm not hydrating that much the days it happens

Regarding your concern, I would explain that these symptoms could be related to different disorders:

- low blood pressure
- pheochromocytoma
- thyroid dysfunction
- carcinoid syndrome.

For this reason, I would recommend you to closely monitor your blood pressure and heart rate during the day.

Further tests may be needed:

- a chest X ray study
- an abdominal ultrasound
- thyroid hormone levels
- blood electrolytes
- urinary metanephrine levels.

An abdominal MRI study may be needed if an adrenal gland dysfunction or carcinoid syndrome is suspected.
