What Is The Treatment For High Heart Rate And Thyroid Problems?

I have recently been in hospital with an elevated heartbeat and have now been put on disprin and metropolol My thyroid was irradiated in 2004 and I take Natural Thyroid, I have been belching a lot since coming out of hospital and feel unwell. I am 60, weight 84 kgs height 163cm

From your history it is evident that you had hyperthyroidism ,resistant to medical treatment and hence you have been subjected to irradiation.your high heart rate was due to excessive functioning of gland and would be controlled with metoprolol.If needed you may increase dose of metoprolol.soon irradiation will make the gland non functioning and you will no longer need metoprolol.However then you would need replacement of thyroid gland.Belching is transient and you may take Rabeprazole and domperidone for temporary relief,
