What Is The Treatment For Hematoma And Swollen Legs?

15 days back I had vericose vein stripping and ligation done on my right leg, below knee. I have Hematoma per my Doctor, after doing an ultra sound today. My leg is swollen, especially one area is swelled quite a bit since lat week (incession). My Doctor said it should heal within 2-3 weeks. Is this common after vein stripping surgery? Please advise.

Hello
Thanks for posting
It is common to have haematoma after varicose veins surgery more in cases where pressure garments are not used.
Meanwhile you may take rest with limb elevation and compression garment.
Hope this helps.
Take care
