What Is The Treatment For Frequent Urination?

Myself mr.harish, age - 64 yrs, i have the problem of frequency of urination since from last 2 yrs, now i have done sonography : Grade 2 prostatomegaly, with prostate weight - 44 gms, i am on homoeopathic Rx, feeling quit better, but can u suggest what should i do now ?

Thanks for writing to HCM

You are suffering from benign hyperplasia of prostate.This is a age related finding.
You need alpha blockers.This will cause some regression in size of prostate and it will relieve your symptoms.

Surgical intervention in required in cases not responding to conservative methods.
PSA(Prostate specific antigen)can be done to rule out malignant changes.
