Hi, excessive sneezing, watery rhinorrhea and itching in nose are the main symptoms of allergic rhinitis. The most convenient and recommended treatment for allergic rhinitis is intranasal sprays (mostly steroid nasal sprays) which provide symptomatic relief and can be safely used for long term. Antihistaminics are also used for symptomatic relief but tend to produce side effects like sedation. Oral steroids may be required for short courses in severe cases but should be used under strict supervision. Avoiding the trigger factors helps in reducing the symptoms. Regards
