General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

If it was vaginal hysterectomy and there is fever and pelvic pain you would need to be examined for any indwelling infection, please drink plenty of water too, and after your gynecologist examines you make sure you take full course of your antibiotic.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Haleema Yezdani, General & Family Physician
