What Is The Treatment For Fever And Cold?

My 4 year old son is having fever of 101 to 102, cold for the past 3 days. Having continuous cough from the 3rd day. Pediatrician prescribed Crocin suspension DS for every 6 hrs , Mucolite , Asthalin. Fever is not getting down below 100'

Any antibiotic medicine required or any blood test required ?

Hi Dear
Welcome to the HCM,
Crocin to be given 4 hourly.
If still he done respond to crocin then He can be investigated for CBC. ESR , TYPHI DOT TEST , URINE EXAMINATION, and accordingly he can be added some antibiotic.
