What Is The Treatment For Exzema In Leg Which Causes Itching?
I think I have some type of exzema. Both legs are having it and keeps on etching. First a corn type black patch develops on the skin with itching. After etching it becomes white patch. I can not wear shorts, it looks bad due to black and white patches all around the skin. Doctor says it Lechecine plenesys ( don t know how to spell). Using madicine for the same, projected/thick black patches become somooth but skin color of hands starts changing, so I stopped the medicine. What is the treatment. My father also had the same.
As per your case history of eczema, my treatment advice is:
1. Do not scratch the lesion as it may worsen the condition. 2. Apply a mild topical steroid cream like Mometasone cream on the lesions twice daily. 3. Take an antihistamine medication like Levocetirizine twice daily for 7 to 10 days. 4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, oral steroid taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
