What Is The Treatment For Ear Ache?

Hi,

My daughter has acid reflux problems foe several years now. Among other symptoms she constantly complains about ear pain in both ears. Her pediatrician put her on steroid nasal spray, allergy medication and she takes prevacid. The ear infections are repeatedly treated with antibiotics which heals infection but there is constantly fluid in the back ears. From many months dealing with the problem I know there is correlation between worsening sysmptoms of her acid reflux and ear pain. My question is how can I treat her ears to releave the constant pain? Most doctors ignore this correlation and give her more antibiotics. Please help.

Hai.. As far as ear infections are concerned... Chronicity & recurrence need ENT surgical consult. Putting a grommet might offer a solution. By the way it would have been more helpful if the kid's age is mentioned. Happy to help anytime. If you are happy with my reply, kindly rate it.
