What Is The Treatment For Dizziness?

I have been experiencing dizziness when I change position when sleeping. Occasionally it will occur during the day. Sometimes I will also feel a squeezing sensation inside both temples like someone is applying mild pressure then releasing. It lasts around 30 seconds or so. I do not have a history of migraines or headaches nor do I have sinus problems or any ear problems or pain that I am aware of. I am wondering if an MRI with contrast would be helpful and what else I might ought to pursue. Thanks, Wendy

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of having dizziness on on changing position when sleeping without any migraines, headaches, sinus problems or ear problems.

Such dizziness on changing position while in bed indicate that your have problem with semicircular canals situated in the inner ear. Either f the 6 canals wither has edema or loss of fluid causing such imbalance or vertigo.
MRI with contrast or CT scan with contrast can help to get a probable diagnosis.
As also is required the Clinical evaluation and examination by an ENT Surgeon and a Neurologist as a second opinion to get to the diagnosis and get started with proper treatment under their guidance.
