What is the treatment for discolored painful area on the knee in a female having gallstones ?
After going to the beach I now have a large discolored painful area on the back of my right knee . How should I treat this? I am a 20 year old female, height 5 4, weight 115 lbs and no medical history except for gallstones which I have not had surgery .
it is painful means u have infection or inflammation
apply antibiotic cream three times a day
take analgesic tab for pain
it may be allergic reaction or insect bite
if u dont feel well in 3-4 day better to consult doctor
Thanks for choosing HCM.,
Large discoloured painful area back of knee....
Should be INFECTION.,
1) Topical ..Betamethasone and Gentamycin cream ...2 times daily.,
2) Tab..Ofloxacin 200 mg 2 times daily for 5 days.,
3) Tab...Acyclofenac and pracetamol...2 times daily for 3 days...ok ..,good luck
you have mentioned it happened after going to beach.have u met any truma or injury or any kind of insect bite. if its due to injury then you can take some analgesic tab like diclofenac 50 mg bd(please ensure that u r not allergic to diclofenac).you can give heat therapy to that area. again you have to meet a orthopedician.he will cmpletely examine that area and give u medications.ther may be some other pathology.

Gallstone problems Hi! I found out last year that I have gallstones and suffer from acid reflux. The doctor I went to put me on dicyclomine for the acid reflux but nothing for the gallstones. They only bother me once in a blue moon but when they do, it get s pretty bad. What are some things that I can do to prevent being in pain until I can have surgery to get them removed? Are there any over-the-counter meds I can take for the pain? I m 22, about 5 1, female, and weight about 200 lbs. I take pepogest to help with acid reflux but I need something for the gallstones. I heard you can pass them but as far as I know, I haven t passed any yet. What can I do about? Help please?!? Thank you

I have a 4 cm gallstone. Should it be taken out if I don t have many of the usual symptoms. I am 65 and my dr. says that I have probably had it a long time. I don t hurt when I eat a fatty meal or a big meal. Right now I keep having a pain just about the area of my right bottom rib cage. It has been there for about 4 months. I weigh 150 pounds and am female.
I have been suffering from diarrhea , stomach pain, severe chills, and hot flashes for more than a year now. I ve had virtually every test available, even had my gall bladder removed. Nothing has helped! I also have this almost constant pain on my left flank, just under my ribs. So far, my doctors have had no answer. Please help!
I had a c-section 10 months ago. About three months ago I was having weak, fatigue , constipation, severe bloating , nausea, and urge to urinate. Had cat scan and all blood work came back fine. However they took my gallbladder out just cause they saw stones. I was then sent to my OB and she did exam and ultra sound of uterus and all was fine. At that time I was put on Metronidazole and began to feel normal. Now two months later after my period ended a few days later I had they symptoms appear again. Some days are worse than others. This time I also formed thrush in my mouth, and I have had brown stringy discharge for 8 days. It may help to know that in the last 28 months I have had 2 c sections and a gallbladder removed. I am at a total loss. I have been healthy my entire life. I am also 41 years old. Thank you for your time.
I have white bumps in my butt crack at the top. I also have a burning sensation at the base of my spine . I just had a hida scan performed last Wednesday due to upper right pain to check gall bladder function. I had bowel movements on Saturday that were green indicating the radiation was expelled. It was in diarrhea form and I m concerned it may have splashed back on my skin. Could this be the cause of my symptoms? Can this be a form of radiation burn? I am stressed over the scan and the use of the radiation. I am concerned of impact of the radiation on my body in conjunction with other CT Scans I ve had in the past.
