I am 23 years old and have suffered debilitating periods over the past few years. I have fainted multiple times with no understanding why. I often begin to throw up RIGHT before I start my period and the the next week is full of nothing but intense pain and fatigue. Typically, I have to change out tampons every 2 to 3 hours or even after 1 with large clots often seen. I also suffer from terrible lower back pain that radiates down towards my ovaries. I have no health insurance but the pain is unbearable and I have been throwing up(water) for hours even though my stomach is empty. I have read that many women are shrugged off as hypocondriacs when they go to the ER and was wondering if this is something they would possibly treat me for. My pain is at a 7 out of 10 right now.
