What Is The Treatment For Constant Pelvic Pain?

Hi, I am 25 and have had constant pelvic pain for over 6 weeks. I had an ultrasound which showed an enlarged right ovary with fluid around it. I had 29 follicles on my right ovary and 9 on my left. I have had 2 kids and my periods are regular. Any idea as to what this may be? Thank you

Hello,

The multiple follicles in ovary could be due to poly-cystic ovarian disease. You need to investigate further with androgen testosterone estimation, random blood sugar estimation and ovulation study for primary work up.

For ovarian cyst, Hormonal pill can be prescribed. I suggest you consult gynecologist for detailed evaluation.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
