Welcome to HCM
Chicken pox also called varicella is a viral infection which is a self limiting disease.
It is not very severe in children when compared to adults.
Make him lie on banana leaf; use minimal clothing.
No effective medicine to reduce the course of illness, but acyclovir an antiviral drug helps in reducing intensity of symptoms.
Use anasthetic gels like dologel on the lesions in his mouth few minutes before he eats.
He will be fine in a maximum of 2 weeks.
Take care.
