What Is The Treatment For Cataract In The Eyes?
My Mother is 61 Years old. She is having cataract in both the eyes. Dr. has advised her for an operation. She cannot see anything clearly. She doesn't have any Diabetes or BP problem. Before I was staying at Guwahati & suddenly I have to shift to Surat (Gujarat). Can you please advise me is there any medicine which can hepl her. Moreover, please advise me a Doctor who can be helpful to me in Surat.

Once a cataract develops it must be surgically treated. She can undergo phacoemulsification with PC IOL ( foldable monofocal/multifocal ). You can take her to Vasan eye hospital, Sangrampura, Surat. There are many other good well reputed eye hospitals too and the decision is left to you.
