What Is The Treatment For Cardiac Dysrhythmia?

I often have an irregular heartbeat during the course of the day (5 to 6 times). I can feel gas moving around in my system almost everytime this occurs. I often have rapid heartbeats which are relieved by passing . I was hospitalized before because I thought tI was having a heart attack but after thorough testing (ekg, ultrasound, stress test, wearing a heart monitor at home) they found nothing. What could be a possible avenue that I can pursue to finally get rid of this or at least be able to treat it.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It is good to know that you have all the screening test for coronary artery disease done & they show normal reports. Irregular heart beats can occur in a normal, healthy heart in conditions like while doing exercise, electrolyte imbalance, stress/anxiety or nervousness. Too much nicotine or caffeine intake may also cause it. Visit ER and get T3, T4, TSH done. Hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid gland) can cause irregular heart beats, AF. Since you have history of gastritis, take Fiber in your diet, drink plenty of water avoid constipation. Constipation triggers gastritis & causes discomforts like you have been experiencing. Remove irritating food from your diet, stop taking oily spicy junk food. Prefer home made food over food from outside. Take antacids & Pantoprazol-40 once daily for 5 days for relieve.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
