What Is The Treatment For Burning Sensation Near Vagina And Anus Inspite Of Having Varicose Vein During My Pregnancy?
Hi im having pain at the opening of my vagina also a burning sensation around vagina and my back passage. Went to doctor and my ph was 4.7 but didnt have thrush or vaginitis. One side of vagina looks bigger than the other and a big blue vein is visible just under the skin, did have a varicose vein there during my pregnancy 20 years ago. Also my mucous membranes are visible an sore to touch on that side.
In most cases, causes of abdominal pain and bleeding through rectum are benign and include hemorrhoids, anal fissure or rectal polyps. These are primarily treated with the stool softener, diet and Sitz baths.
It is very important to take a lot of fluids, probiotics, high fiber food, and stool softeners to avoid hard stool and straining.
If there is no improvement in the next few weeks, then surgical management should be considered.
Other causes may be more serious and include tumors or inflammatory bowel diseases and these should be ruled out with colonoscopy which must be done if there is low blood count present or rapid weight loss.
Otherwise, you can see if conservative therapy will help and consult proctologist if necessary.
