What Is The Treatment For Bronchitis?

I have recently had bronchitis which was treated with antibiotics. Lungs cleared, but still wasn t feeling quite right. Doc said that I had a sinus issue and gave me a different antibiotc and prednasone. Sinuses seem better, but still things are not quite right. Have noticed some brown spots in saliva once in a while. Any ideas?

Pulmonologist 's  Response
thanks for your question
i completely understand your issue
brown spots in sputum , can be blood , consider consulting a pulmonologist who can request for a chest xray and a sputum afb smear and a sputum culture
continue with the medications
if you are a smoker quit it right now
regarding bronchitis / chronic bronchitis / copd you need to talk to the pulmonologist about te inhaled drugs which are the main therapy for chronic bronchitis
disscuss all these investigations and treatment modalities with your pulmonologist rather than a general physician , he can guide you better
thanks
feel free to ask more questions
