What Is The Treatment For Broken Nail?

hello sir,i have broken my nail part totally in my childhood accidentally i mean in 6 years old playing with friends,the doc near to us did his known treatment terminated total part of nail growth.now i am 20 years old i don t have nail in my foot second toe of right leg.so, any artificial nail insertion to that toe?????

Hi.
I've gone through your query and I can understand your anxiety.

Once nail separates from the nail bed, it can not be reattached and a new nail will grow back slowly. If any jagged or sharp edges are seen then use nail file to smooth it.

I advice you to clean your toe nail to remove the debris and apply antibiotic ointment if needed & always cover it to protect it from dust.

Fallen nails can regrow entirely within 3-6months. If any sustained injuries that affected your nail bed and the matrix, the nail might take even more time to grow.

Also take biotin supplements & toxic polishes
