What Is The Treatment For Blood In Stool?

Hi, i just noticed in the bathroom that afterwards going i found blood with my stool. It's bright red and looks 'snotty'. This past weekend i did volunteer work, and from friday to sunday i didn't go to the bathroom and ate rural food. I don't know if that's related, i'm not in pain, i don't feel fatigued and it doesn't hurt, i just notice it when i go to the bathroom

Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to hemorrhoids. Some advices that I can give to you are:
-Apply an over-the-counter hemorrhoid cream or suppository containing hydrocortisone.
- Use pads containing witch hazel or a numbing agent.
-Soak regularly in a warm bath or sitz bath. Soak your anal area in plain warm water 10 to 15 minutes two to three times a day.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi
