What Is The Treatment For Appendicitis?

this is about my son he's 19yrs old about 170lbs. on 4/21/2011 he was diagnose with acute necrotizing appendicitis at the er and his appendix was removed and now my insurance doesnt want to cover the bill because they said it wasn't medically necessary.is this true?

Hello, Good to hear you. If your son had acute necrotizing appendicitis than it is a absolute indication for appendectomy. So there is no question about not covering the mediclaim. As a advising doctor I suggest you to visit nearby surgeon and describe them a complete situation. He will guide you further, because there are many other parameters also which can not be covered into the mediclaim. Thanx
