What Is The Treatment For Anxiety And Sleeplessness?

i am 41 years old woman who had undergone tubectomy 12 years ago. Presently I am suffering from anxiety, sleeplessness at night and drowsiness all the time. My gynae had prescribed anxit .25, pyricontin F and calcshine for 30 days. However, after ten days into the medication, my condition remains much the same. Pl advise

Such problems usually happen in peri-menopausal female and in that case, proper treatment include low dose antidepressant with benzodiazepine. I would suggest you des-venlafaxine or paroxetine as an antidepressant. For that, you should consult psychiatrist or your doctor as these drugs are not available over the counter. You can also try relaxation technique.
