What Is The Treatment For An Abdominal Aneurysm?

thanks; I m an Occupational therapist. Patient description and what is a safe approach for therapy for this patient. First this is a woman 70ties, mild right side weakness, DVT, clots 12inches long in both her lower extremities. She can not tolerate blood thinners; she is a bleeder. She has been hemorrhaging internally for about 6 to 9 weeks. This was just discovered 3 weeks ago. She stopped eating about 8 weeks ago. She also has an abdominal aneurysm. Is there any thing safe that therapy can do

Yes, you can put her on Inj Fondaparinux which is a newer Heparin with a once a day dose and does not have much bleeding risk. If aversed to injections, you can advise Tab Rivaroxaban 15mg twice daily for 2 weeks and then 20mg once a day for the rest of the period that anti-coagulation is required.
Take care,
Dr Rishi, India
