What Is The Treatment For Acute Bronchitis And Laryngitis Causing Tightness In Chest?
I have tightness in my chest and a dry cough. Was diagnosis with acute bronchitis and acute laryngitis 3 weeks ago. Now I am feeling tightness in my chest and have a dry cough? Tightness comes and goes and does not keep me from exercising 50 minutes a day / 4x/week. How can I get rid of this tightness?

Chest tightness and dry cough are suggestive of asthma for which you need to have a spirometry with bronchodialator reversibility test done to prove the diagnosis of asthma. Along with it you also need have sputum for acid-fast bacilli smear and sputum eosinophil count along with a chest x-ray to exclude other etiologies of chronic cough. You need to consult a pulmonologist soon and get yourself thoroughly examined.
